I had the pleasure to attend and capture Summayah and Mohibs wedding in Columbia, SC. Both being of Pakistani origin, it was a 2 day event including a Mehndi the day before the wedding. Both days were full of joy and love. It was a unique experience for me and one I will never forget. The colors and vibrancy of the decorations and clothing made my job that much more fun. 2011 Wedding Photography Giveaway

Prize: 6 hours of coverage on the wedding day, up to 1000 proofs on disc with printing rights, an online gallery up for 2 months and $150 print credit ($2000 value).

Eligibility: Open to legal residents of the 50 United States and the District of Columbia. Void where prohibited by law.

Transportation: Transportation cost is included with grand prize but limited to 150 miles radius of Wilmington, NC. Use zip code of 28405 as starting point reference. If the official winner is located outside of this 150 mile radius, they must agree that the cost of any necessary transportation for Aria Images Photography will be additional expenses to be paid by the winning couple.

To Enter: Email your entry to me at ariaimages@att.net. Send me a picture of you and your fiance and give a brief description of why you deserve to win the giveaway. Be as short or as long as you like. Nominations by friends are accepted as well. Dont forget to include the date of the wedding! Entries must be received by noon August 31st, 2010.

HOW TO VOTE: Voting will take place on the Facebook Fan Page at www.facebook.com/AriaImages and start on Sept 1st. Please do NOT vote before then or it wont count. All entries must be in before the voting begins. All fans can vote (you must be a fan to vote).There will be a designated photo album for all entries. Vote by commenting "vote" on your favorite couple's picture. On Sept 15th, the top three contestants will be chosen. They will be interviewed a bit more in depth and then the voting will continue for those three. The winner will be announced on Sept 30th.

Erin and Shane | Puerto Peñasco, Mexico

I had the recent privilege of traveling to Puerto Peñasco, Mexico to shoot the wedding of Erin and Shane. My husband was able to come with me so we were able to make the trip into a mini vacation. We had never been to Mexico before but were pleasantly surprised with the beauty of the area and the kindness of its people. The villa Erin and Shane's family rented on the beach was just stunning. Everyone was in a happy and relaxed mood and it made for a very fun evening. The wedding took place a few months before in Arizona but this was the belated wedding party and it could not have been nicer or more joyous. Congrats Erin and Shane!

Christina and Michael's Wedding | North Topsail Beach, NC

Christina, a teacher from NJ, approached me about shooting her marriage to Michael, a pilot from NJ, out here in beautiful N. Topsail Beach, NC. I was ecstatic. Who doesn't love a beach wedding? Not only was the wedding simply gorgeous (what a beautiful bride Christina made!) but the family and friends that I met had to be some of the most fun people ever! I had such a good time. It was a pleasure capturing their special day. Congrats Christina and Michael! Your love for each other is a beautiful thing. :)

I was asked by Baby Ellsworth's mommy to take some pictures of him as he is growing too fast as all babies do. :) He is such a precious little boy and was a real trooper letting me take pictures of him. Congrats Jill and Alex on your special little man. Enjoy every moment.

Kelsey and Michael's Greenfield Lake Engagement Pictures

I recently shot the engagement pictures of Kelsey and Michael who are both originally from WA. Not only were they young and in love they were super cute and very easy to shoot. The day's weather was not great but that didnt dampen their enthusiasm one bit. We shot a some formal pictures with Michael in uniform and Kelsey in her cute little black dress and houndstooth coat and then some fun, casual pictures. Going off the way they were dressed and being inspired by it, the formal pictures have a definite vintage 40's feel that I just love. Thank you Kelsey and Michael for a wonderful session and congratulations on your engagement!

Taylor and Camron's Downtown Wilmington Engagement Pictures

On Jan 23rd I was able to help Camron surprise his girlfriend with a proposal. It was so fun! She had no idea and was completely surprised. We got to capture their engagement pictures right after in the downtown area of Wilmington, NC. They are fun and very in love as you can see from the pictures. :) Congratulations Camron and Taylor! I look forward to capturing your special day in June.

Aneesah and TuMar's Engagement Shoot

Last weekend was gorgeous here, temps were up to 65 degrees. A perfect time to get some engagement shots of Aneesah and TuMar from Raleigh, NC. We first met at the Arboretum and then took the session to Wrightsville Beach. By that time the sun was setting and it was getting cold. They were troopers though and stuck it out so we managed to get some lovely sunset pictures. They are so in love and were such a fun couple to work with. Congrats on your engagement Aneesah and TuMar! I look forward to shooting your wedding in May.

Rebecca's Maternity Pics

I recently had a maternity shoot with a lovely lady named Rebecca. This is Rebecca's first pregnancy and it was a true pleasure working with her.
